Why We Default to Laravel for Client Platforms

Framework choice matters less than most teams think, but for client work specifically, a few things make Laravel our default.

We get asked often why so many of our full-stack builds start with Laravel instead of a JavaScript-only stack. The honest answer: for client work where we hand off long-term maintenance, batteries-included frameworks win.

Laravel's ecosystem — queues, scheduled jobs, first-party auth, Eloquent's expressive ORM — means less time wiring up infrastructure and more time on the business logic that actually differentiates a client's product. It also means the next developer who touches the codebase, whether on our team or the client's, finds conventions instead of a bespoke architecture to reverse-engineer.

That's not a knock on other stacks. For real-time-heavy or highly interactive frontends we reach for React or Vue on top of a Laravel API. But as a default foundation for business platforms, it's hard to beat the combination of developer speed and long-term maintainability.
